Colds
& Flu – be prepared!

A wide variety of
viruses are capable of causing the common cold and influenza. For most
of us this occurs only once or twice a year if we are generally healthy.
Initially there is a runny nose with watery discharge and sneezing. The
throat can be dry, sore and a possibly tickly cough. To speed the recovery
there are several things that can be done.
Essential
oils
are excellent in bringing the natural relief to the symptoms of colds
and flu.
Cajuput inhibits the
spread of bacteria prevalent to in sinus throat and respiratory infections
while anti-inflammatory.
Camphor reduces fever heat and eases breathing
Balsamic and aromatic Cedarwood combines efforts with the other essential
oils to soften, loosen, liquefy and expel excess mucous.
Clove along with ozone-stimulating Australian Eucalyptus, well known for
its powerful antiviral properties, clears breathing passages, relives
blocked sinuses and gives temporary relief to the congestive headaches
of colds and flu.
Decongestant Hyssop and invigorating Lemon, rich in Bioflavinoids and
Vitamin A and C work to soothe rasping inflammed tissue and temporarily
relieve the chest and throat pain of constant coughing.
Infection inhibiting Niaouli and evergreen Pine free constrictive feeling
